The teeter inversion table can be used to stretch your entire spine. It uses gravity to cause your body weight to stretch your spine in the inverted position. You can control the amount of stretch by raising and lowering your arms while secured to the table. This causes it to tilt; the higher you raise your hands above your head the steeper the tilt.
However, inversion tables are not recommended for those who easily get nauseous in the inverted position. It should also not be used if you have significant cardiovascular disease, or metal hardware such as an artificial hip or knee.
