Low Dose Naltrexone

As a last resort, low dose naltrexone may be helpful in suppressing your fibromyalgia pain (off-label use).  Do this only if the previous interventions mentioned in this ebook are not getting you the desired level of relief.

Naltrexone is a prescription drug used to help addicts stop their habit.  It is an opioid antagonist prescription drug, which means it blocks the pleasure receptors in the brain associated with addiction, but in low doses it can calm down overactive auto-immune activity and systemic inflammation.  Check with your physician.
