What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia (FM) is a condition characterized by inexplicable muscle/ joint pain or tenderness throughout the body and often chronic fatigue. Other symptoms may include insomnia, headaches, abdominal bloating/ tenderness, sore throat, short-term memory loss, mental fog and anxiety.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) has many of the same symptoms of Fibromyalgia and is mostly characterized by extreme, inexplicable fatigue for more than 24 hours after mild exertion, lasting for more than six months.
